MONGOLIA TO INCREASE FUEL IMPORTS FROM RUSSIA

On October 22, 2025, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources G. Damdinnyam met with H.E. Evsikov Alexey Nikolayevich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mongolia.

During the meeting, Minister Damdinnyam requested enhanced cooperation to address the ongoing fuel shortage by increasing the volume of fuel supplied from Russia and expediting its transportation.

Ambassador Evsikov also addressed recent misinformation circulating on social media, emphasizing that fuel supply operations from Russia to Mongolia are proceeding as normal and that there are no disruptions in deliveries.

Following the discussions, both parties agreed to increase the volume of fuel imports from Russia to Mongolia.
