The regular shareholders' meeting of Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi JSC was held on April 28, 2025. The meeting was chaired by S. Narantsogt, Executive Director of Erdenes Mongol LLC, which exercises the state’s ownership rights in the company. Members of the Board of Directors, company executives, and shareholder representatives attended the meeting.
The agenda focused on the company’s 2024 operational and financial performance, audit results, dividend distribution, proposed amendments to the company charter, and the Board of Directors’ annual report.
Acting CEO Kh. Munkhjargal presented the 2024 activity report, highlighting that Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi mined 30.4 million tons of coal and sold 29.6 million tons during the year. The company generated 10.3 trillion MNT in sales revenue and recorded a net profit of 4.5 trillion MNT. It paid 3.5 trillion MNT in state taxes and fees and distributed 3.9 trillion MNT in dividends from its 2024 earnings.
Munkhjargal also noted that the company fully repaid 981.6 billion MNT in ETT bonds issued in 2021–2022 using internal resources. He described 2024 as a historically successful year, marked by 5.7 billion MNT in investments in education, healthcare, environmental protection, and local development under the company’s corporate social responsibility framework.
