Erdenes Mongol LLC hosted a meeting last month attended by Mongol Teever Union, the Ministry of Environment, Green Development and Tourism, the Ministry of Road and Transport, the Authority for Specialized Inspection, and 50 entities engaged in coal transport. The transporters pressed the authorities/owners of roads for urgent resolution of some issues. Among their demands are lower fees for use of the road from Travan Tolgoi deposit to Ganshuunsukhait port, revision of the maximum permissible load, and allowing fair competition.
