Nowadays, people have so many sources that they can turn to for information, but I think a professional journal plays a key role in providing first hand news of a particular industry, presenting the government’s policy and strategy toward that industry, and furnishing locals with actual facts and issues of that specific industry.
In recent years, the mining industry has developed rapidly, as it became one of the moving forces of our economy. Thus, not only scientists and researchers are aware of innovations and international trends, but also the general population is becoming more concerned with the latest news of mining industry.
I think that the Mongolian Mining Journal has made a great contribution to the development of the Mongolian mining industry by providing the
right understanding and knowledge and familiarizing the public with the latest achievements, failings and burning questions from a professional, expert perspective.
Also, it is commendable that the magazine is published both in English and Mongolian, making it the best and most reliable source of information not only for Mongolians, but also for foreigners and for international investors who are interested in the Mongolian mining sector.
To conclude, I want to say that the quality of the magazine, its ever widening range of subjects and the achievements reached in such a short period of time are a direct reflection of the Mongolian Mining Journal’s staff’s combined effort to achieve one purpose.
