Voyager to resume drilling at KhulMorit this year

Voyager Resources plans to resume diamond core drilling in its 80% owned KhulMorit project later this year to focus on copper porphyry. Results from exploration there have been “highly encouraging”, including 34 metres of 3.4 per cent copper and 14.7 grams per ton of silver from 92 metres as well as 116 metres of 2.4 per cent copper and 7.2 grams per ton of silver from 30 metres at the Cughur prospect. A total of 763 samples from 26 of the last set of drill holes completed during the drilling programme in early 2012 have been sent to the laboratory for assaying.

The results confirm the company’s confidence that KhulMorit has the potential to host a significant copper porphyry system. The fresh drilling will aim to ensure that the porphyry is in line with the company’s primary strategy. Voyager will also complete a number of hydro-geological drill holes to support the application for a mining licence.
